Didn’t that study also count like, pretty much any kid who showed any gender nonconformity as trans.
So those who turned out to ‘just’ be gay or, ya know, cis but gnc counted as detransitioned trans people instead of “oops this one was never trans guess we’ll leave that one out then”
Like you would fukkin think “identify trans people” would be step number one in a study about trans people but oh well I guess
